Description
Sterling Lovers Dream Repousse Vanity John & William Deakin Chester England – hallmarks appear to be the lion for sterling, Chester England, datemark for 1905 and makers mark not a strong stamp however it appears to be JD WD for John William Deakin. This repousse women and rose waves on top of lid – hinge is working perfectly – four feet are perfectly level – opens to reveal an original navy blue felt lined bowl – bit dusty and the piece needs to be polished. Weighs in at 73 grams (with the felt lining which is intact and not easily removed). Measrues 2 1/2 inches round and is 1 3/4 inches tall. No detracting issues.
