Quaker Silver co. sterling salt & pepper etched glass opalescent 701 & 703 mkg

Description

A pair of very sweetly shaped salt and pepper shakers with sterling weighted feet and screw in etched glass tops.  The tops are smooth and nearly perfect – no chips.  I do note a few bumps but they are from the manufacturing process.  Bases sit flat and they are quite oxidized and need a good polishing.  I note a few minor dings but nothing terrible.  they are 3 1/4 inches tall with 1 1/2 inch bases and 1 1/4 diameter tops (where the holes are).  I note that while both of the glass tops have a bit of opalescense one definitely has more than the other.  Bottoms are both marked Quaker silver co. with 702 on one and 703 on the other.  Also says Sterling weighted pat pending along with the number 2026738. Each one weighs approx. 56 grams.
