Description
A pair of very sweet salts – unknown maker – there are not markings that I can find – they do test sterling silver with our testing kit. Repousse bodies with three legs and a beaded or milgrained rim. each has an oval for engraving or monogram – none on them. Measure 1 3/4 round at the rims and stand 1 1/4″ tall. Bellies are a bit wider. Gold wash is more evident inside them and also on the repousse portions. Goldwash is mostly worn off though. I note a few dents/dings evident inside their bowls but nothing major. Sturdy and stand even. A really beautiful set. Together they weigh 58 grams.
