Reed & Barton Francis I Sterling Silver Salad Fork
This is a sterling silver Francis I pattern 6 1/8″ salad fork. Francis I was an American sterling silver tableware pattern, introduced in 1906 by Reed & Barton and named after King Francis I of France. It quickly became a favorite of nobility and presidents. This Renaissance-inspired flatware pattern has an ornate handle that is decorated with voluminous scrollwork, leaves, blossoms, and fruit. Francis I is an exquisite example of silver artisanship. Production ended in 2019. Some abrasions from use could use a polish – Weighs 42 Grams!
