Description
Malcolm Morley 18KT artist palette brushes colored diamond pendant- number 2 of the 77 limited edition. Set with 7 .10 point round brilliant cut colored diamonds. Total carat weight is .70points. Measure 1 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch in width. Solidly crafted the pendant hangs assymetrically. The two brushes are different lengths and have movement. Hanging on a 20inch 18KT snake chain.
some history – When Malcolm was alive he collaborated with master jeweler Pietro Romano in Bellport and created a line of jewelry. An artist’s palette modeled after the palette used by Malcolm was also created in 18KT gold using colored diamonds. A pendant with matching earrings were crafted. In addition paintbrush earrings and pendant were also created based on Malcolm’s actual paintbrushes used. A hot air balloon brooch was created as well as bi-plane cufflinks.
Other sets can be made to order at a slight discount however this being the #2 made it is priced accordingly.
While several of each item have been sold over the years we have a few pieces remaining and any additional pieces would have to be made to order. Only the items you see on our website are authorized to be made by the estate. Each is hallmarked with Pietro and MM as seen in the photos and each piece is numbered and limited to an edition of either 25 or 77 as per Malcolm’s instructions per item.
