This metal 19th century button measuring about 11/16” in diameter is a great addition to any collection.

Description

This metal 19th century button measuring about 11/16” in diameter tells an incredible story.
The sentinal was shot while blowing a bugel to warn the people of the advance of Tarters. Around the 10th century, could be a bit earlier.  The button has incredible three dimensional detail but does show signs of wear and significant metal oxidation and rust as photos show.
