This Tony Agostini painting is proofed (E.A. epreuve d’artist) and is of a jazz band setting setting. He’s an artist whose work originated in France and abroad. His work has been shown annually in the Galerie Charpentier as well as the Galerie Visconti in Paris and at festivals in Vichy and Cannes. This painting has beautiful detail. The painting has slipped down a bit on one side out of the frame.

Tony Agostini (Italian/French, 1916 – 1990), lithograph, “L’orchestre” Artists Proof. This edition was 275 pieces and this was one of the proofs for the edition. Under glass which is making it quite heavy. Measures 20in x 16in and then it is matted and framed with a final size of 29 x 24. Print is in excellent condition, frame has a couple minor nicks and the matte has discolored from age. His work has been shown annually in the Galerie Charpentier as well as the Galerie Visconti in Paris and at festivals in Vichy and Cannes. The lithograph has slipped down a bit on one side of the matte.
